We are weirdos and outcasts, introverts and anxious dancers, and mold-breakers. We are differently-abled, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+. We are not corporations, brands, or bots.
The Politics
We rebuke the premise that dance music is apolitical. We are leftists, anarchists, socialists, and communists. We are anti-capitalist, anti-fascist, and anti-authoritarian.
The Sound
We are distorted, DIY, gritty, loud, and unpolished. Structure is optional. Best practices are suspect.
The Community
We're proudly local. We converge for unsanctioned dance parties. We support each other through mutual aid. We are building a community, not chasing clout on social media.
The Craft
We celebrate building and borrowing over buying. We respect DIY projects, even if a commercial option could be neater. We treat our tools as tools and our voices as voices.
The Style
At the end of the day, we don't take ourselves too serious. We're electro-punk meme-lovers. We support bootleg culture. We're down with all things geek.

Shy Noise is a Denver-based producer and DJ channeling distorted energy, spectral tension, and firelit groove into a bass-heavy fusion of hard techno, haunted house, and ghost garage. His sound is defined by scorched textures, pulsing atmospheres, and percussion that grinds and slams without ever losing control.
Drawing from retro sci-fi, industrial decay, and the emotional weight of ghost frequencies, Shy Noise builds sets that burn slow, hit hard, and leave smoke in the air. Whether DJing or performing live, he brings a relentless, immersive energy to the floor—ritualistic, warped, and unforgettable.
